Family Tree

Robert (Bob) Barker has agreed to produce a family tree for us. In order to collect the necessary information we will send out a form by email that you can fill out and send directly to Bob (Louise's dad). He will include pictures if you supply them, digital ones are the best. So start spreading the word that we need everyone's email. Thanks Carol for getting your family's contact info to us so fast.

Hello and Welcome

Hello and welcome.

Would you believe it's been almost ten years since the last reunion? Well, in an attempt to make this as successful as the last one, we need everyone to help. Doug, Monique, Louise and I met last Saturday and thought that the long weekend in August would be a great time for the next reunion. What do you think?

We need help with email addresses and names to make sure we contact every one. So that's your first task. The second of many will be to come up with ideas for activities.

Let's take advantage of this blog to brainstorm for activities, or get reaquainted before next August. How long do you think it will take to get to 1,000 posts? The first blog activity can be to see who guesses the date we reach 1,000 postings. Bragging rights to the winner.

Some quick facts:
Who: Azilda and Richard Roy's children's children's.... you get the idea. Over 140 possible attendees if everyone shows up
What: A great time to be had by all. Tears (you know who you are crybaby!), laughs, memories, hugs...
When: August 1-3, 2009 (at least)
Where: The Ranch (Steve and Louise Conty's place near Carp Ontario)
Why: It's been too long
How: By passing on the blog address, emailing, talking, posting, snailmailing (what's that?) to all of your families.
